How do two rockers manage to maintain a healthy marriage when they're both constantly on tour?
Avril Lavigne explains: "(My husband Deryck Whibley and I) email and talk on the phone. I'm always on my BlackBerry," the singer told OK! Magazine.
"He comes out and visits. I was just in Europe and he came out for two weeks at the beginning of the tour and two weeks at the end of the tour."
Of her hubby, Lavigne gushed, "It's really great having Deryck around, because he's really talented and he can help out and give me notes on the show. After I took my voice lessons he was like 'whoa, you're voice is the best I've ever heard it.' He has a really good ear."

So say the results of the first Musikfest poll, in which nearly 1,800 people chimed in to name the most buzz-worthy RiverPlace act this year.
Through much of Friday, the reunited-at-last 90s grunge band Stone Temple Pilots was mopping the floor with the rest of the competition. Then Avril Lavigne’s fans apparently discovered the poll over the weekend and just buried STP.
Avril walked away the winner, with 662 votes — nearly twice as many as STP.

AVRIL ONLY HIRES BROWN HAIRED DANCERS
Avril Lavigne only hires brown-haired backing dancers. The 'I'm With You' singer insists on being the sole blonde on stage when she performs live, and so orders all her dancers to dye their hair.
She said: "Everyone was brown, except one of my favourite girls was blonde so we were like, 'You have to have brown hair.' It wouldn't look right. "I wanted my girls to look really punk rock with like black hair and that's pretty standard for everyone, like Madonna and Mariah Carey. If they're blonde you're not going to see another blonde on stage."
Meanwhile, Avril - who recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary with Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley - insists she has no plans to start a family just yet.
The 23-year-old singer said: "I don't want to have kids for like 10 years. I still have a lot to do. I don't even know if I could handle a dog right now. I'm so not ready. Someday I'll be a mom but not until I'm in my 30s."

The Kuala Lumpur date for Canadian pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Tour has been fixed for Aug 29.
The concert, presented by Maxis Hotlink, is part of Lavigne's worldwide tour that includes performances in the United States, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan.
The Grammy award-nominated artiste's concert in Malaysia will be staged at 8pm in Stadium Merdeka.

Poor Evolution of Dance guy. Avril Lavigne's music video for Girlfriend has become the most watched video on YouTube with over 93-million views, and her manager says she's raking in millions for it through ad-views.
Nettwerk Management CEO Terry McBride, who represents the punk-pop princess, told a panel in London that "there's about a $2 million check waiting for her for all her YouTube plays," though official numbers have not been divulged.
Is Lavigne's YouTube ranking deserved? Tech magazine Wired cried foul on the statistics when it was discovered that Lavigne's fans were cheating to inflate her numbers. The fan site Avril Bandaids created a website that constantly refreshed the YouTube video, automatically adding one page view every 15 seconds.
YouTube insists the numbers are correct. A spokesperson told Wired, "We have safeguards in place that limit the efficiency of this type of behavior, to make sure that advertising campaigns running on YouTube only reach legitimate viewers and are in no way affected by inflated view counts or gaming activities."

Avril Lavigne is getting her teeth fixed.
The 23-year-old pop rocker dislikes her sharp, vampirelike front teeth so much that she's getting them rounded off. "Avril hates her fangs," says an insider. "She is planning on having them filed down by a cosmetic dentist. It's just something she has always been insecure about, especially since everyone is staring at her mouth when she sings. As soon as Avril finds some time to take off so it won't interfere with her singing, she's getting it done!"

Last night was the last show of the month. Avril Will Begin touring again in august but she is taking a break. Avril said that her favourite place to tour is Amsterdam.
